Dear Classical Literature and Mythology Students,
In the framework of "Recycling of the Classical Materials," our research assistant Tuğba Şimşek will give a talk entitled "Rewriting and Subversion: From Antigone to Antigonick" about Canadian writer Anne Carson's Antigonick (2012), a translation-adaptation of Sophocles's Antigone (c.440 BCE) at Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall between 11:00 and 11:30 on November 20th, 2018.
All our students taking the above-mentioned courses are invited to the talk.
