The fifth of the series of “The Poetics of Utopian Vision” organised by our department will be held at Güvercinlik Conference Hall between 15.00-16.30 on 13 May 2019 with the talk entitled ”Environmental Transformations in Dystopian Literature: Reading Maggie Gee's The Ice People in the Anthropocene" by Dr. Fatma Aykanat, who is from the Department of English Language and Literature, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University.
