Assoc. Prof. Dr. Armağan Erdoğan who contributed to our university both in academic and administrative affairs right beginning from its establishment in 2013, retired as of this academic year.

Dr. Erdoğan served as the Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Dr. Erdoğan participated in the Horizon 2020 project called “Adult Education as a Means to Active Participatory Citizenship – Edumap,” which was also the first EU project in our university. During her last year, Dr. Erdoğan was on Sabbatical leave in Netherlands.

Dr. Erdoğan has made invaluable contributions to the establishment of our department, playing a major role in the development and growth of our department. We would like to thank her for her devoted work and all her contributions and support and wish her success in further academic studies.
