The student of our department Ergin Seza published his poem entitled "Reckoning" in English Language and Literature Club Journal (January 2019) of Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

The theatrical-dramatic performance “Canterbury Yollarında (On the Way to Canterbury),” which was based on The Canterbury Tales (1387-1400) by Geoffrey Chaucer (1343-1400), and organised and directed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zümre Gizem Yılmaz in the frame of our department's course ELIT 270 - Medieval English Literature, and performed by the students of our department, was re-performed for the History Club at the Semahat - Dr.

Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mine Özyurt Kılıç, the Vice Dean, met with 1st-year and 2nd-year students of our department, had a Q & A session, and communicated on life on campus, university life and academic issues. All the problems, ideas and suggestions voiced by our students in this meeting were attentively noted by the Dean's secretary Funda Uçar Kazancı.
